EMU Health is a fast-growing, multi-specialty medical provider based in New York, delivering accessible, high-quality care across primary care, surgery, imaging, and urgent care. With an ambitious growth plan and a mission to simplify and streamline healthcare for patients, the brand needed a refreshed visual identity that communicated professionalism, innovation, and trust—while standing out in a crowded healthcare market.

Strategy & Creative Process
Our approach to the EMU Health logo design balanced boldness with clarity. The visual identity had to work across departments—urgent care, women’s health, imaging, orthopedics, and more—while still feeling unified under one brand.
Discovery & Brand Alignment
We conducted a series of stakeholder interviews and brand workshops to understand EMU Health’s positioning: fast, accessible, quality care in one place. The identity had to be confident, modern, and flexible across specialties and platforms.
Typography & Structure
We selected a custom-modified sans-serif typeface that conveyed strength, stability, and clarity. The typography is clean and bold—making it easy to read on signage, digital headers, and marketing collateral.
Icon Development
The EMU logo includes a strong, minimal emblem—a stylized “E” that can stand alone across branded assets. The mark represents movement, integration, and forward care. It was designed to scale from small digital icons to large building signage without losing clarity.
Color System
We developed a distinctive navy and teal-based color palette, pairing clinical professionalism with a hint of vibrancy. This palette also leaves room for color-coded sub-brands, supporting EMU Health’s multi-service ecosystem.
Brand Application Testing
The new logo was tested on all use cases—from appointment cards and scrubs to the patient portal and facility signage—to ensure adaptability and brand consistency across all patient touchpoints.
